GG: Message topics

No offence to anyone, but because there are so many people on f_minor
I'm going to request that if the topic isn't related to Gould, even in
some vague way, that extended discussion take place off the public
address (f_minor@email.rutgers.edu).

Examples of topics best discussed off the list:
	*further technical discussion of the d-base and ascii problems
*musical threads or that deviate completely from things Gould

Examples of recent threads that might seem marginal but I think are
appropriate:
	*discussion of various Goldberg recordings
	*the state of the classical recording industry
	*other topics Gould wrote or talked about.

I don't see why questions can't be asked of the community as a whole
(ex. the dbase poll; other musical info requests) but please
	* limit such questions
	* make your intent clear in your header (ex. GG: Rare Scarlatti CD
Info?)
	* make your private email address visible in your signature.

When replying to such a query
	*consider if your response will be of interest to people who joined
to discuss Glenn Gould.
	*Non-Gould queries are probably best answered to the questioner's
private email address.

Thanks for your cooperation,
Mary Jo,
