Hi Jost, good to hear from you.  I don't know much about Beckett, but
from what I can tell, Berhard was at least working on a parellel course
as him (sometimes) if not down-right influcenced by him.

Didn't Berhard also write a few peices for the stage?

I just gave the Loser another look through and was amazed at how
many times Gould's name is mentioned and how little of Gould's real
life or recordings make it in the text.  I can see how people not too
familiar with Gould's life or Bernhard's method could mistake this
book for having a lot to do with Gould.
