I too rather liked that second side of the GG Jubilee (surprising
myself).  It's great to hear his real voice again, which was not, after
all, all that ponderous and serious.  After reading through all the
tomes on him I get a little lost.

I wish they had put some new material on the first record, though, and
not just rehashed from the others.  I confess I wasn't that taken with
the `late' italian concerto -- the `on the record' seems so much more
energetic and enthusiastic.  Am I missing something profound?  Others'
opinions?
