Two Portraits is really two connected documentaries in one. One is
"Off the Record" and the other is "Onn -- whoops, On -- the Record."
The first shows a few scenes of the twenty-something Glenn Gould
testing pianos at Steinways, but mostly, it shows him at home. The
second shows the process of recording the first recording of the
"Italian Concerto."
I think I bought it at a Borders a couple of years back. It's probably
available on-line, but you might have to wait. (I recently ordered the
Art of the Fugue video on-line, and I had to wait a couple of months
for the company to find a copy of it. But it was worth it for the
extra discount.)
