[F_minor] GG: Anyone See The Russian Journey?

I found a copy of "The Russian Journey," "Life and Times," and "Extasis" 
(VHS) in a boxed set at the Daedalus Books warehouse store for about twenty 
bucks. So I finally got to see these!

I liked "The Russian Journey." I'm going to have to watch that one again. 
Does anyone know details about when the parts with GG were filmed, and who 
filmed them? Is there an older documentary somewhere with more of this 
footage? I'd love to see more of GG in Russia.

I started "Extasis" but stopped it to go to dinner and accidentally left it 
in my parents' VCR. That may say something about my response. I found the 
style a little annoying. Although I did find the overlapping Goulds at the 
beginning quite Gouldian. :-) I may have liked "Extasis" more than some 
because I knew who some of the people being interviewed. ("Look, it's 
Margaret Pascu!") OTOH it was annoying because it was done for a French 
audience, so everyone was speaking in French, even people whose first 
language is something else, so you got a few seconds of French and then 
(IIRC) English voice-overs instead of the actual people.
