Re: State Of Wonder Sound Artifact



Well, I carefully listened again to my older "Glenn Gould Edition" of the
'81 Goldbergs, and the sound IS there also, albeit at a slightly lower,
almost imperceptible level.  Therefore, not a defect on the new edition, but
something that was picked up in the original session.  Now that I know it is
there, I find it very distracting.  (Funny how I don't feel the same way
about all that humming...)
