Gould and Menuhin

According to what I have read, Gould scripted all his dialogues with
other people. Is this true? In particular, did he write Menuhin's part
of their dialogue on Schoenberg's violin sonata? It seems hard to
believe that Menuhin would have allowed anyone to put words in his
mouth, no matter how much he liked and respected the person. Or is this
claim that Gould wrote all the parts for his dialogue just a myth or
true only of some of his dialogues?
