F_minors, have you linked with the site "Music of intellect" by Iori Fujita ? There is an invented dialogue by Bach and Gould about "The Goldberg Variation". This is dynamic, actual and friendly. Fujita would like to make a movement to rename the Goldberg Variations to the Glenn Gould Variations in the year 2002 after 20 years of Gould's passed away. What’s your think about it? I’ m sure! After the ’55 and ’82 recordings "The Goldberg variations " were "The Glenn Gould Variation ". Expecially in the 1982 performance Gould was a priest of "The Goldberg Variation" before and after him nobody had played this piece in a way so profound, revealer and intimate.
