Yes, his pastoral on piano is a gem.  The same piece on the LD is also a
heart warming video clip. I actually like them than the transcription of the
5th symphony.  He seems to play Richard Strauss symphonic poems on piano for
his own sake.  Its a pity that he hasn't left recording of them.
