Which probably explains why a lot of people who gravitate from pop music love
GG so much. For people who don't know a semi-quaver from a triplet, they
usually become addicted to him on first listen. They hear something going on
that isn't going on in everyone elses work. Trying to nit-pick a passion
seems to be the predominant basis of critiquing Gould's music and how he
chose to play it. I'm just glad he did.
