The recording of the Brahms concerto was made illegally. No one owns the copyright, including Sony and they have no intention of releasing it. I guess in this case, it's up to the estate...the legalities are fuzzy and no one's anxious from the Gould or Sony camp to deal with it, but somebody's done what they can to stop the bootleg distribution... -MJ
