There is no one in Germany who doesn't consider
this assault concerning
the whole civilized world. There is – like elsewhere – disbelief and grief for those killed or injured and their families. I will never forget how I was working at the

final choir of St. Matthew or Alban Berg's “Dem Andenken eines Engels”. But for the moment there isn't anything but
silence.
