Re: Beethoven Sonatas
Dear Pamela,
Regarding No. 28 and 29, both are available with official releases.
28: CBC Records Oroginal CBC Broadcasts PSCD 2013
29: SONY Glenn Gould Edition SMK52645
When you listen to 28, I think you can enjoy young Gould's vivid playing,
though it is a monoral recording.
Performance of 29 provides interesting interpretations of this huge work.
Regarding, 27, I haven' t found the recording,
though I am crazy about Goul'd performance of Beethoven works.
I've opened a web site titled 'Glenn Gould and Ludwig van Beethoven'.
If you have interest on it, please visit it.
(The site is in Japanese at present but you can enjoy photos.
I will make an ENglish version as well.)
I hope it helps.
Regards,

Subject: Beethoven Sonatas
What about Beethoven Sonatas No 27, 28, 29, which are not on the Sony Vol. 2
Sonata Collection? Were these recorded, and if so, where can they be found.
Thanks for your help.
