Anybody up for two more tough questions?

Why did Gould make that clip in the first place?

And why would Bruno M, who knew Gould so well, put up with such an
un-Gouldian voice?

Perhaps as a joke to Glenn and all the editing to his performances that he
did?

The clip looks quite unlike anything I've seen in the Gould Gould video
series.

I suspect there's a very odd history behind that clip.

And I'm pretty sure that in one of the books on Gould someone mentions
Gould's unpublished essay on Richter and even quotes from it, a quote which
comes right from this videoclip.  So I suspect the person who wrote that
note didn't even know the video existed.
