GG Chopin

Dear F Minor People:
For all those interested, in the most recent issue of The New Yorker there
is an offer from Columbia House which gives you the COMPLETE Gould plays
Bach collection (14 CD's!) on Sony for only $9.98, if you join the club
and buy 6 discs within two years. Pretty good offer; some may want to
trade in their old CBS discs for the remasters, which sound much better.
  
 Also, I was considering buying the GG plays Chopin until I read the
Ostwald book, where he says it is an abomination, or something like that.
Has anyone heard it? What's it like??
