	Dolby Labs... microphones on the ceiling, funny clips of Glenn
singing to animals in the zoo, and the pleasure of Humphrey Burton's
personal anecdotes. My wife and I stayed for the Ecstasy, then left to
catch "The Fifth Element".

	As you suggest, Kristen, perhaps Peter didn't write as revealingly
as he could have. At the time, he was hardly geared towards any belabored
Freudian analyses, since all his food was being delivered intravenously,
and his hopes for an extended lifespan were in the floating point
percentages. Perhaps his ideas were changing towards another approach, and
the book he produced stands as the only testament of this transition. Now
we've gotten off track. Doubtless, there will be more great books
concerning the mystery of Glenn Gould.

	I'll encourage my mother to continue this discussion. She's just
started to learn about newsgroups, but she has plenty more knowledge of
this subject than I. After all, she too is a Canadian pianist!
