[F_minor] Liszt/Beethoven

Remember: he had a wicked sense of humor, often at his own expense.  I
find his liner notes either hilarious or so insightful.  


We also have had no discussion about the performances, per se, of the
Liszt/Beethoven symphonies.  I find the 5'th to be spectacular and the
portion of the 6'th wonderful.  He truly loved the music and played them
both with great feeling and intuitive expressiveness.  That is the way
it sounded to me.  I've heard Katsaris do these pieces but they sound a
bit brittle to me and not with enough tenderness.
