RE:[F_minor]http://archives.radio-canada.ca/arts_culture/musique/dossiers/309/
I have very little knowledge of the physics of music, but you say is absolutely fascinating. In many Eastern Religions, music is used to attain a trance-like state, which is said to bring us closer to God. I cannot speak to the truth of this, but I can certainly see how music can effect everything, from physical reactions, to unconscious workings of the mind.
I am reminded of a new program, called 'idoser' released a few years ago. This program comes with about 70 audio files. These audio files supposedly emit binaural brain waves, and listening in the right circumstances with the right headphones, one can literally alter chemical states in the brain. The makers of these files claim to be able to replicate Out-of-Body experiences, to cause bliss, to replicate the effects of Marijuana, and even Cocaine, without actually taking these substances into your body. Perhaps this is the commercialized version of what we are discussing, but it certainly points towards the same thing.
