Re: Maureen Forrester
I can't tell you how sad I was to read this article!
How much I have adored her voice; I consider her to be
one of the finest voices of the 20'th century. So
totally sad to see her exiting life somewhat closer to
the basement than she deserves. How sad to see her
family suffer through her decline. The only good that
I feel out of this is the enormous recorded history
she will leave us, of an artist of sublime power and
great sensitivity. Thanks for setting me straight.
Sadder, but wiser.
Regards,
Fred
