UPDATE: I just heard from a pal who's a
local violinist. Raphael plays the oboe. The robot plays the
piano.
Suddenly that old magazine ad for Tabu
parfum fills my mind -- but as it might happen in 2023. In mid-Schumann,
Professor Raphael suddenly drops his oboe and madly, passionately kisses the
robot pianist. He couldn't help himself, the accompaniment was just so
beautiful.
