The Bach's Concertos for Piano and Orchestra
performed by Glenn Gould are available in "The Glenn Gould Edition" Sony
CD
SM2K 52591.
In the CD the Concertos are six ( BWV 1052
1053 1054 1055 1056 1058) and not five ( sorry for my
mistake!)
The "Goldberg Variations" '55 recording are
available in the CD SMK52594 (the same Edition)

with you re GG's interpretation of Bach's "Italian Concerto" and the first
version of the Goldberg Variations -- spectacular. I don't think I've
heard him perform "Five Concerts for Piano and Orchestra." I had not
heard of that. I will try to find it.
To anyone: are the first
Goldberg Variations still available on sale? I tried to buy a CD but
could not find one, only of the later performance which I already
have.
