According to what I have read, Gould scripted all his dialogues with
other people. Is this true?
Not all, but many. Especially in later years. I can't quire remember if
the Monsaigneon Bach videos were scripted, but even if they were, that
was very much a collaboration.
In particular, did he write Menuhin's part of their dialogue on
Schoenberg's violin sonata?
Nope. They did discuss it extensively beforehand, but it wasn't scripted.
Or is this claim that Gould wrote all the parts for his
dialogue just a myth or true only of some of his dialogues?
Not a myth. Most were scripted, many in conjunction with the "interviewer".
