There was an earlier post about the extraneous sounds that can be
found in the '81 Goldbergs.

The sounds include clicks, high strings, a telephone, a harpsichord, a
shout (perhaps from a child), something that sounded like a brass
band, and even a "voluptuous" female voice. (Maybe she was answering
the telephone?) Now, if that woman had started singing, "Don't Sleep
in the Subway," that would've been really appropriate.
