The german branch of Sony claims on their website that all original CBS records have been re-released. Afaik this is not the case. Is there still anything in the Ice-Box (material that was planned for a possible release when GG was still alive ) or anything the folks at Sony haven't re-released yet ? The Concert Drop-out Interview hasn't been re-released and the Tim Page Interview also hasn't seen a proper re-release. Anything else ?
How many records has GG sold over the years ? Not that record sales are important in this case, just curious.
Read somewhere that Otto Friedrich has passed away recently. Has this been mentioned on this very fine list ? His GG biography is one of the best books yours truly ever read. Can't wait to read his books about Hollywood and Berlin.
Followed the discussion about GG's religion with interest
and remembered a scene from "32" where he
was telling a story that had something to do with numbers.
Did GG have some interest in numerology or was he just telling an anecdote
