RE: GG Chopin
Very curious to know (and we never will) if GG would have had more
interest in Chopin if he had been aware of Chopin's intention to create
fugues to accompany the Op.28 preludes. One exists ( A minor) and it is,
unfortunately, not good counterpoint. Generally, however, Chopin's
counterpoint is brilliant and overlooked.
