GG: Gidon Kremer met GG

Hello minors,

Yesterday I bought a copy of the Japanese translation of 
Gidon Kremer's book *Oberto{"}ne* (Salzburg and Vienna: 
Residenz Verlag, year?; *Kinsen-no-fureai*, Tokyo: 
Ongaku-no-tomosha, 1997).

There is a chapter named "Inn-On-the-Park", where
Kremer recollects his visit to GG in 1982 with Andras Schiff.

It is an interesting episode.  I could quote it here, but
it would be a translation of a translation, which is not a good way.

Is there an English translation available?
If not, does anyone translate and quote the episode from the German book?
