There's a review of Ostwald's "Glenn Gould: the Ecstasy and Tragedy of Genius" in today's NY Times (June 26, p. C18). The book gets a more or less positive review, although it still doesn't sound particularly illuminating to me. If anyone finds this irresistably intriguing and can't find a copy of the paper, I'll probably mail you a xerox of the article. -Tim Solomon
