GG: Favourite recordings

Hi all!
In 'Conversations with Karajan' by Richard Osborne I found that
Gould liked very much Karajan's performance of Tchaikovsky 4th symphony
on EMI. Anybody knows whether he referred to the one with the Philarmonia
Orchestra or to the one with Berliner Philarmoniker?
And about Ein Heldenleben with Mengelberg: was the Teldec recording with
Concertgebouw Orchestra or the RCA with NYPO?
