     Yes, they are really screwing us.  I was in a record store 
     yesterday, and they want at least $30 for any 2-cd set I am 
     interested in having.  They have the 63(???) recording of 
     the Goldberg Variations for 8 bucks, though, because they 
     ordered to many for X-mas and now they have a bunch left 
     over.  But we all have that.  That's not doing us any good.  
     ARGGH!!!

Does anyone know what recording of the Art of Fugue?  The standard organ 
one, or something new from the various piano recordings?  I looked on 
Sony's web site, but couldn't tell.
     
As for Sony's marketing tactics, I couldn't agree more :-(.  If I'm 
going have to spend a zillion dollars to get 24 CD's I already have in 
order to get the one thing I really want, I am going to be one unhappy 
puppy.
