Not at all, Peter. I have the same reaction to the humming. It
humanizes the out-of-the-world music-making.

How about the intentionalist fallacy. The intention of the artist is
not the only valid reading.
But if you are feeling lonely and put on Glenn, hums and all, it is kind
of comforting. Like another person in the room. Or is that to mystical
for some.
