Re: Creaking Chair and Other Extraneous Thingies

The Beethoven piano sonatas recorded in the late '60s (esp. op 10 and op 14
sets) are particularly creak-laden. So are the Bach Inventions and
Sinfonias.

P.S. I have a live recording of Elgar's Dream of Gerontius (a great work,
BTW) conducted by John Barbirolli and he can be heard groaning quite loudly
at cetain points.

What are the creakingest recordings? That is, which GG recordings pick up
the sound of the creaking chair most clearly?

Also, besides the humming and the chair, what other extraneous sounds have
you heard in GG recordings? (Not counting the piano, which is _not_
extraneous of course.)
