Gould on Streisand & A Glenn Gould Haiku

I bring to your attention an article in today's online New York Times
about Barbra Streisand which quotes extensively from Glenn Gould's 1976
review of her "Classical Barbra" album to support a critique of her not
entirely unlike the kind that used to haunt Gould:

But style-blurring excesses will likely remain part
of Ms. Streisand's
work. Fans have long learned to accept her on her
own terms. She is like
a best friend who drives you crazy with her hang-ups
and habits but
makes you laugh with her self-deprecating humor,
keeps you going with
her mix of pluck and vulnerability, and is always
there.

PS- This inspired a Glenn Gould pseudo-haiku:

Knock-knock, Barbra's at the door.
Tap-tap, Stokowski drums his fingers,

...Anyone care to supply the punch line?

(Hint: "Stokowski in Six Scenes" by Glenn Gould, in which he meets
Streisand.)
