And wouldn't that have been so Gouldian, for him to dub in some Pet Clark
way down in the noise floor and then wait to see if anybody got it. He was
certainly not above playing with the medium in this manner (in fact, that type
of manipulation was part of his claim to fame).
Who would have thought to look for backward masking of Satanic Pet Clark
messages in a Goldberg variation!
