The Idea of North

May I ask ... how many of you have taken the train from Winnipeg
to Churchill, Manitoba that Gould's radio documentary, "The Idea of North,"
was about?

If you should have a sudden impulse to go -- DON'T FIGHT IT! (The October-November cusp is when you want to go, and you better book now.) It was the most wonderful adventure!

The odd thing is that when I told Canadians where I was headed, many would say, "Why do you want to go there? There's nothing up there. It's a very dull part of Canada."
