Re: GG: A dilemma
Dear Elisha:
Here is my two penny's worth.
This GG Gathering is going to be a once in a lifetime event. I don't think
any of us will ever have this opportunity again. So do make the effort to
attend everything you can.
College isn't going to go anywhere. Your parents could be cross with me for
telling you this but I speak as a parent and a graduate and can tell you
that there are so many things that I wish I had done and didn't do for the
same sort of reasons you state and regreted missing the opportunity
afterwards. Life isn't a dress rehersal , we get to pass this way just once
and I find the older I get the faster it passes me by. You have the rest of
your life to be a sensible upstanding citizen. Make sure you live a little
first.
In my experience, if you want to do something badly enough, you'll find a way
to make it happen.
Here's wishing you all the very best and I look forward to meeting you at
the f-minor breakfast.
Gillian.
