But it's Summer, Brazil has unfortuently lost the final, so it's time to get outside, enjoy the weather, grab your CD player and read a good book !
So far I 've read every book available by and about GG
(Payzant, Walter, Bazzana, Kazdin, Tim Page's GG Reader, Selected Letters,
Stegemann etc). But while looking around at amazon.com I found one book
I've not read yet.
It is called "Ecstasy and Tragedy: The Genius of Glenn
Gould" by (the late) Peter F. Oswald.
The reviews at amazon were quite mixed so I've got me
doubts if I should buy this one.
Is it worth reading ? Can it keep up with other books (Bazana, Walter etc) or is it just a boring warm-up of GG's (medical) history ?
Have a brilliant day !
