I have got the answer!!

It is a misspelling of "Beta"
But it does not mean the Betamax video system of Sony
(which was released in 1975).

It is a Beta Film, a sister company of UNITEL.
They belong to KirchGroup, a German media group.

In short:

UNITEL--a producing company
Beta Film--a distributing and promoting company

Accordingly, in the letter of Glenn Gould in 1968, 
Karajan's contract with Beta film was about to terminate
(It must have been renewed).
