RE: Karajan's Bata film contract?

Thank you for all of you who responded to my
"Bata" question.
Forgive me to make a single reply only with
this mail via f_minor.

I am now asking some people off the list including
the netizen who mentions "Bata film"(Thanks K.Berry).

So far, what I understand is that it might have something
to do with the Bata family in Toronto and their shoe industry.
The Bata museum sounds interesting, for someone told me
off-the-list that GG wore Bata's shoes!

Anyway, I will tell you later if I get something new.

BTW, does anyone know Karajan specialists? Such people
might know what "Bata" is like.

Regards,

Junichi
