GG: photos of "images"

Dear friends:

Give me another help of yours re GG materials:  
the compilation album "images"(SX2K 62588).

Sony in Tokyo, again, asked me to add comments on each photos
to release the Japanese edition of the album.

Tell me anything if you know something of the following photos:

Page 7. a caricature credited as "MacPherson, Toronto Star, 1981."
Who is MacPherson?  A famous artist?

Page 8. It must be a photo when GG received an honorary doctorate
at Toronto University in 1964.  QUESTION: Who is the person beside GG?

Page 16.  The Kings Highway 17.  Tell me the route of the highway.
(though I know it is mentioned in GG's "Search for Petula Clark".)
Where are the both ends of the highway?  Is it going into "North"?
Exactly where can you guess the photo was taken?
Dear Canadian friends, does this road sign make you feel the world of North
spreading ahead?
What are these enigmatic characters?

Pp.20-21.  A photo of Toronto.  Where is it taken?  What are the buildings?
If you are a sightseeing guide, what do you explain this scenery?

Page 25.  Where is it?  By Lake Simcoe?  Somewhere in Toronto? or in Wawa?

Page 26.  Is the dog named Sir Nicolson?

Page 28.  What is the name of the dog?

Page 31.  "Franklin, The Globe and Mail, Toronto, 1970".  Who is Franklin?
In general did many caricatures of GG appear in Canadian papers and magazines?
