What a wonderful post you have made.
Just a quickie from me...
My brother gave me the 1955 Goldbergs 3 years ago, and in the months
that followed, I listed often.
It changed my relationship to music so much that I just HAD to play,
rather than listen.
Now I have been studying piano for 21/2 year very keenly, and getting
more into it every month. Gould has changed me forever.
I love passing by his St. Clair apt. sometimes.
