[f_minor] GG Birthday

Kind of a minor happenstance, but I am currently reading Shostakovich's
Memoirs edited by Solomon Volkov.  I had no idea this book was/is
controversial until I read the reviews.  So far I am enjoying the read...but
any comments from other f-minoreans who read the literature are most
welcome.

Happy Birthday Glenn!  I remember the first time I read about you in a
Stokowski biography in high school, then found an LP of you playing
Beethoven's op. 10 sonatas.  Too bad Google didn't remember either you or
Dimitri for their custom logo (or perhaps, didn't want to choose)?
