Re: Gould and Trudeau?
I didn't get into the "What would Glenn say" debate because I didn't know
what Glenn would say.
I try my best not to think about politics but this thread and Elmer's
question got me to thinking about Glenn and politics. Does any one know
which party if any he supported? Did he face the crowds at the polling
booths and vote?
To Elmer -- Pierre Trudeau belonged to the Liberal Party. All the political
parties have Web sites with lists of people you can e-mail. There could be
someone writing a history of the Liberal party who might know this. Try
typing Federal Liberal Party into the Canadian Google engine.

I do have a little historical question, and hope one of you well-read folks
can answer it. Did Glenn Gould and Pierre Elliot Trudeau (1919 - 2000) ever
meet? Or correspond? (Or talk on the phone late at night?) The intersection
of these two giants of Canadian life would be fascinating.
