Oh I can imagine the thread that might follow about why it's
inappropriate to even have a Glenn Gould prize. Because it's inevitable
that someone will receive it, you may as well nominate a worthy
musician, right?

The Canada Council for the Arts and The Glenn Gould Foundation request
your collaboration to help publicize the call for nominations for the
1999 Glenn Gould Prize.

The Prize is awarded every three years and consists of C $50,000 and an
original work of art by a Canadian artist.

The 1999 Glenn Gould Prize prize information sheet, which includes all
the details for the prize and nomination procedures is posted on the
Canada Council for the Arts' website at

www.conseildesarts.ca/prizes/prsh09-f.htm    for the French version.
