I was going through some older messages before binning them and I came
across this from Robert Clements:

"Humphrey Searle (English composer; student of von Webern; & _no_ you

Why the snotty, superior  "_no_ you haven't heard of him"?

I have, though from what I've read and heard those who have not have missed
little.
