Re: Bata shoe museum



The Bata Shoe museum, to which Jeremy Smith referred, was founded by Sonja 
Bata, wife of the head of the Bata shoe corporation, an international conglomerate 
that was run from Czechoslovakia in the pre-communist period, then from Toronto 
for some decades.  The museum opened 2 years ago in the centre of Toronto.
