Criticism

The criticism of Dr Lehman's comments on Bach Art of the Fugue and GG 
strikes me as an exercise of herolatary at the expense of objective 
investigation. None of those who have criticised Dr Lehman state that 
they have listened to any of the recordings discussed - even those of 
GG. Is this an objective response to valid criticism or kneejerk 
reactions to an unexamined position? It sounds very much like the 
latter.
