RE: [F_minor] Re: September 25th - Gould's birthday
He's known not to have liked any exotic food.
The Chinese culture, more so yet philosophy (Chan Buddhism) he was supposedly interested in - especially as he was weighing to do a fourth part on the Solitude Trilogy, this time involving the Far East - of course, he wouldn't have traveled there even if there had been a "slow boat to China." Something of challenge
And, although otherwise rather austerely living, he did own an original painting by a contemporary Chinese painter Zhou/Zou (?) Wou-ki who lives in Paris...
