Re: [F_minor] Literature about (or Inspired by) Glenn Gould

could you possibly expand your reference to the play "Glenn?"

Can anybody name novels, stories, and other works of literature inspired by Glenn Gould? Or even stories in which he plays a small part, in person or in spirit?

Here are the ones I'm familiar with:
-- "The Maestro" by Tim Wynne-Jones -- GG appeared in the guise of Nathaniel Orlando Gow
-- "The Loser" by Thomas Bernhard -- There is a pianist called Glenn Gould but he is dissimilar in many ways to the real thing.
--"Good News" by Edward Abbey -- a cameo appearance
-- "Gold Bug Variations" by Richard Powers (the Goldberg Variations play an important role)
-- Northern Music: Poems About and Inspired by Glenn Gould , edited by J. D. Smith (has anyone read this?)
-- The play "Glenn"

Last night, I dreamt there were actually a couple of manga or graphic novels about Glenn Gould! Oh if only there were! What a wonderful way of getting the word out to young music fans. ;-)
