Honestly, you would not be getting these messages if you or someone using 
this address hadn't signed you up for the Glenn Gould mailing list. The 
list administrator would not sign you up against your will. The only way 
you would receive these e-mails is because you signed up to be on F-Minor, 
the Glenn Gould mailing list. Also, after you sign up for the list, you 
have to confirm your membership. You cannot be added unless you confirm 
your membership. Were you trying to subscribe to some other e-mail list at 
Rutgers? I guess you might have signed up to the wrong list.

If you do want to belong to the list but don't want to get many messages in 
a day, you can sign up for the digest version of the list instead. That 
combines all of the day's postings into a single long message. This list 
isn't actually all that busy, so at most, you will get one digest a day 
(often fewer).

We think that our messages are really brilliant and intriguing, but if you 
don't like us, then that's OK. :-) All you have to do is go to the 
unsubscribe page.

unsubscribe from F_minor, get a password reminder, or change your 
subscription options enter your subscription email address":

If that doesn't work, then contact Mary Jo Watts at either 
f_minor-owner@email.rutgers.edu or mj.accounts@gmail.com and ask 
(politely!) for help.
