Re: Glenn Gould - Canadian writer, broadcaster, pianist and COMPOSER?

Quoting from "Variations and variants" by Jacques Hétu: ..."Glenn Gould was
not a performer like all the rest; Glenn Gould could not make do with
playing a score; and through others' music, he imperiously communicated his
own musical universe, because Glenn Gould was definitely a true creator".

And like every true creator he found his own way: not traditional
composition, but interpretation, at a different and higher level, of others'
compositions; and sideway, the conception of his famous "docudramas", a new
kind of art combining traditional media with ancient music structures and
thoughts. So, definitely he gave the word "composer" a further meaning.

BTW have you also the score of the Cadenzas for the Beethoven's?
